Content Marketing Manager

Sens.ai is looking for a proven content marketing manager to join our San Francisco team. The ideal candidate brings formidable skills and creative energy and enjoys making people and brands successful at engaging with their fans and customers.

Sens.ai is an early stage company focused on helping creators, influencers, and small to medium-sized businesses build stronger connections with audiences. We believe social media is the most significant development in connecting people since the telephone. But the rapid growth and complexity of the major platforms make it increasingly difficult to navigate these virtual relationships

Our mission is to make managing social media fun and effective for our customers. We’re currently working with hundreds of early-access beta testers, who are creators of all sizes and exposure, as well as some of the most recognizable names in charity, media, and entertainment. We will soon launch a suite of social media management products that are radically different from incumbents in the space. Our platform will use artificial intelligence to deliver fresh, personalized recommendations on how to grow audience and engagement. And it will be fun to use!

Content Marketing Manager

We have tremendous ambitions. We’re currently preparing to emerge from beta, launch our product, and build our brand. This is where you come in. You’ll use your deep expertise of content marketing to strategize, execute and measure content-based efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments, their pains and opportunities, and how Sens.ai can make their lives better
  • Create a comprehensive content strategy to build brand awareness and leads
  • Measure, report, and iterate
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and a staff of contributors, both from inside and outside the company
  • Identify and work with influencers to amplify our efforts
  • Develop and manage distribution and promotion across paid and organic channels

Qualifications:

Data Scientist

The rapid growth and size of the medium make it increasingly difficult to navigate these virtual relationships. Job Description

The demands on creators, businesses and brands to communicate, respond to and generally excel at social media are increasing. Data will play a huge role in the overall product strategy and development of the Sens.ai platform and services. We are therefore hiring our Data Scientists who will report directly to Chief Data Scientist and work closely with the product team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the design and build of innovative data science solutions that will drive our business and product offering forwards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced algorithms leveraging AI, data science, and NLP to meet the objectives of the business
  • Help identify, build, and deliver Sens.ai ground-breaking technologies and services to end users
  • Work closely with our product team to ensure advanced analytic capability of the product vision
  • Collaborate with our UX, design, and back-end dev team to develop and enhance the quality of Sens.ai platform
  • Research and develop Machine Learning and NLP algorithms and methods for delivering product metrics
  • Utilize and integrate a variety of internal and external data sources to develop and refine Sensi.ai system
  • Research and understand audience behavior on social media to generate actionable insights for the users based on their goals
  • Identify and create cohorts among users based on music genres, type of followers, geolocation, and other attributes
  • Develop NLP and ML experiments to determine which fans are the most influential and their ease of interaction, possibly how to best interact with them (DM on Twitter or Tag in a Facebook post, etc.)
  • Identify and create categories specific to the industry such as “pre-show”, “new release”, “general update”, “book tour”, etc.
  • Conduct experimental design to evaluate what posts work with some information as to why (content type, image, etc.)
  • Look at post impact based on date & time to provide suggestions on optimal time based on content type and platform(s) being used
  • Provide prediction of post impact (before release)
  • Predict half-life of fads. Estimate when a subject or type of post has peaked
  • Develop advanced analytics to identify social activities that are going viral
  • Introduce product placement and native advertising (as an option) for our customer base
  • Develop analytics to predict demand for shows (i.e. which venue and when) and optimize ticket pricing

Experience  

  • Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields
  • 3+ years experience with data science, AI, NLP, Machine Learning
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, Java, and other programing languages
  • Experience with NLP libraries such as NLTK, Gensim, etc.
  • Experience with ML / DL libraries such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Theano, etc.
  • Previous experience or strong working knowledge of digital and social media and the APIs from the major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc.)
  • Experience with predictive/prescriptive analytics, social network analytics, time-series analysis
  • Hands-on working with structured and unstructured data
  • Experience working with data storage technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Postgres, MongoDB, Mysql, etc.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tool such as Tableau
  • Hands-on experience working in an early stage startup environment
  • Experience with supporting strategies for customer acquisition and engagement on social media

Social Analyst

About You:

  • You’re a Social Analyst with 2-3 years experience who is excited about machine learning and looking to play a pivotal role in the development of a first of its kind social technology platform.
  • You’re fluent in one or more third-party social analytics platforms and can be insightful working with relatively limited data points and thinking outside the box.
  • You stay up to speed on product and algorithm updates within each social channel and can educate our strategy team to integrate this knowledge into content recommendations.
  • You pay attention to detail, communicate clearly and have the ability to initiate and drive projects to completion that will help move the needle.

About This Role:

  • You’ll apply your expertise in social data analysis to develop daily, personalized social recommendations and actionable insights for our user base, with a focus on audience growth.
  • You’ll build attribution models to identify and understand the impact of our recommendations and insights; plus formulate hypotheses and test them.
  • You’ll contribute to the creation of our proprietary machine learning system, encompassing your analytical work and broader metrics from each social channel; plus digital, cultural, behavioral and socioeconomic trends, visual recognition technologies, etc.
